FAQs
Is this an exchange?
No. We’re a merchant acceptance model accepting digital assets for our own services only. No exchange, conversion, remittance, brokerage, or custody.
Who pays who?
When you pay lucasLink, you are paying us directly for our services.
We issue an AUD-denominated invoice (with GST where applicable) and provide you the option to settle that invoice in approved digital currencies instead of traditional payment methods.
lucasLINK then uses its own business funds to pay any internally approved third-party suppliers involved in delivering your service (for example, real estate companies for marketing, printers, designers, or ad platforms).
These supplier payments are part of lucasLink’s operational process, not a remittance or exchange on your behalf.
Which assets are currently accepted?
We currently accept Bitcoin (BTC), Etherium (ETH), Ripple (XRP) and have plans to expand
Can I get a refund if i’ve paid in Crypto?
All crypto-settled payments to lucasLink are final once confirmed on-chain.
Because digital currency transactions are irreversible by design, and lucasLINK does not operate as an exchange or remittance service, we are unable to offer refunds or reversals of payments.
For business integrity, every invoice is quoted and issued in AUD (including GST) before payment.
We strongly encourage clients to review all details — including wallet address, amount, and reference — before sending any funds.
If a project or campaign is cancelled after payment, lucasLink may, at its discretion, apply a credit note toward future services rather than returning funds.
This approach ensures compliance with Australian AML/CTF law while maintaining fairness and transparency for our clients.
Invoices & reconciliation
Invoices are denominated in AUD. The crypto amount shown at initiation reflects the AUD total at that time. After sufficient confirmations, we mark the invoice as paid and issue a receipt.
What can clients pay for?
Business-purpose invoices only (marketing, SaaS, creative, print, web)
KYC/ID checks
For higher-value invoices or when required by law, we may request KYC/ID before providing a payment request.
Prominent compliance statement
LucasLINK operates as a merchant-acceptance business and is not a digital currency exchange (DCE). We accept select digital assets only as payment for our own services. We do not provide exchange, conversion, brokerage, remittance, or custody services.
All crypto payments are final and non-refundable once confirmed on-chain. Prices are set in AUD, and the payable digital-asset amount is fixed at the time of payment initiation. LucasLINK does not offer conversion, cash-outs, or custody of client funds.
Statutory rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) remain unaffected.
